Language Martyr's monument on the Dhaka University campus. I had a better photo, but it was all flipped sideways and I'm Photo-shop illiterate. Anyway, it is a monument to the 8 or so unarmed students who gave their lives defending the Bengali language against the impending Pakistani army. The were gunned down in cold blood, standing arm in arm.
