Charlotte York, shopping for a wedding gift for Miranda: "This is pretty (holding up a heart-shaped plate)."

Carrie: "Too domestic. And too brighty."
Samantha: "Yeah, we don't want to piss her off."

Charlotte: "Fine. Why don't we just get her a stapler, wrap it in some brown paper, and smear dog poo on it. Would she be comfortable with that?"
