The tragically familiar crunch of eyewear beneath my own shoe.

I guess it wouldn't be as devastating were this not the 4th pair of spectacles since 1998 that have been victim to my own shoe/foot/rocking chair. Luckily, I knew this would happen and I have two back-up pairs. I have to TKP-proof myself sometimes.
