TKP New Year's Resolutions
Here they are...my list of humble goals for 2005
1. Eliminate the word "yer" from my vocabulary (as in "I like yer shirt")
2. Learn to put on a sari...all by myself...in such a way that doesn't gaurantee public disrobement within the first hour
3. Phase out 'Cadbury's Fruit N' Nut' bars from my chart of basic food groups
4. Expand my Hindi vocabulary to extend beyond the phrases "it is cold" and "is there any water/Pepsi/Coca Cola?"
5. Master the use of the dreaded Asian 'squatty potty'
6. Get around to reading the book "How to Prioritize and Organize" (the irony!)
7. Learn the names of at least three Canadian provinces...how many can YOU name?
8. See continental Europe (i.e. outside of Schipol International Airport, Amsterdam)
9. Learn enough Bengali folk and classical songs to supply our 'Palit family talent shows' with material for at least 2 years
10. Floss

number seven...as a man with deep canadian heritage i am offended i am (or was?) your friend. i didn't spend so many years playing in the canadian past-time sport just b/c it was fun, but to educate on canadian geography. i consider number 7 nothing short of blasphamy. drink sprite
