Last week I read a lot of theory and drank a lot of beer. I'm either an aspiring New England academic or an aspiring Irish guy (sorry, Rogan).

Top choices this week? Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale and Samuel P. Huntington's "Clash of Civilizations." One is a delicious seasonal brew and the other a disillusioned Cold Warrior's ham-handed attempt to explain why war happens: because those weird, non-Western people out there hate "us" and our culture. Both are tasty.
