Things to pack for upcoming week-long Los Angeles/San Fransisco trip:
1. The most fashionable sunglasses I own...hmm...
2. The under-the-shirt travel wallet I wear when travelling overseas so as not to get robbed
3. Heels, sparkly tops, and the largest hoop earrings I can muster (for clubbing purposes)
4. The expensive digital camera I received as a Christmas gift in 2005 and have used only once
5. A stack of resumes, you know, just in case
6. My guitar to serenade my former Dhaka roommates Karishma and Monisha
7. My "Wine for Dummies" guidebook--the "T" in Cabernet is silent, you uncultured swines!
8. The screenplay I wrote about an angsty young Bengali-American woman trying to make it in love and life in the land of the Pilgrim's alleged "pride"...you know, just in case
